About the Blog
We like good things, and we love great things. For us, this includes the preparation and sharing of delicious foods with the people we love. We hope that our escapades in and out of the kitchen, at the dining table, and beyond will amuse and inspire you to connect more lustily with the food you eat, the world it comes from, and the people you share it with.
Independently, we’d thought for sometime about starting our own food blogs, but hesitated to go it alone. So, both being social creatures and possessing a deep—if occasionally grudging—respect for the other’s talent and a raucous group of hungry friends, a team effort seemed not only appropriate, but necessary. So, here we are. The PassionFruits: two voices, one commitment to culinary awesome. Luke’s party planning and pastry skills are hard to beat—black sesame langues de chat to go with a star anise-infused chocolate pot de crème? Mais oui! Joe does amazing things with ingeniously sourced, fresh, seasonal vegetables—in his capable hands, even turnips become a transformative experience.
Like any cooks, we love feedback, so feel free to drop us a line.
We hope that PassionFruits will play host to a lively community of readers who will engage with us and each other in the comments. While we have no interest in policing anything, save perhaps your pantry, we do reserve the right to remove comments that we deem unseemly and to block commenters that engage in undue profanity, hate speech, abusive linkery, or personal attacks against us or other commenters. In short, play nice.
